- Cuyahoga Community College is taking a new approach to increase retention over the summer: offering internal internships to students. Under the college’s new Summer Internship Program, more than 100 students will work at paid internships at the college. According to a news release, they’ll make $10 an hour and have one summer class and one textbook paid for by the college. (The class can be up to four credits, and the textbook can cost up to $125.)
