- Quick update today: The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued its final rule that will require companies to submit some of their injury and illness data electronically so that the information can be shared online. This requirement primarily will apply to companies with at least 250 employees that already have to keep records for OSHA, though some smaller businesses in industries with high risk of injury or illness may also be required to report some data, according to an OSHA
