Local manufacturers optimistic about growth in 2017, survey finds

Rachel Abbey McCafferty - In 2017, local manufacturers expect the economy to be strong, or at least equal to 2016's economy, according to a new survey from Cleveland-based Magnet. Magnet, along with The Corporate University at Kent State University's Stark campus, conducted a survey of local manufacturers from late November 2016 through early January 2017, according to a news release. The survey was sponsored by Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Respondents to the survey came from 285 area manufacturers, the release said.
