- As the academic year winds down, a lot of local universities and colleges have been making job announcements. Here's a quick look at the new deans and vice presidents who will be taking on roles at local campuses. Kent State University has named David Dees the new dean and chief administrative officer for its Columbiana county campuses at East Liverpool and Salem. Dees has been the interim dean of those campuses since July 1, 2016, and will take on the role permanently this June 1, according to
